Bridgid Murray Tyler

Bridgid Tyler Murray

Bridgid Tyler Murray graduated from Enfield High School (1998). She received her A.B. from Brown University (2002) and her J.D. from Western New England College School of Law (2007). She was admitted to the Connecticut Bar in 2007.

Since 2007, she has been practicing at Tyler & Tyler. Her interests are in the areas of elder law, family law, real estate, probate, wills, and estate planning.

Bridgid has been a member of the American Bar Association, the Connecticut Bar Association, and has been a member of the Felician Senior Services Board in Enfield.

Thomas J. Tyler

Thomas J. Tyler graduated from Enfield High School (1964). He received his B.A. from the College of the Holy Cross (1968) and earned his J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law (1973). Shortly thereafter Tom was admitted to the Connecticut Bar. Brothers Tom and Russ formally began their law partnership as Tyler & Tyler on January 1, 1978.

Attorney Tyler also taught Criminal Justice and Corrections and Juvenile Delinquency as an Assistant Professor at Holyoke (MA) Community College. While attending law school, Tom served as the Director of the Criminal Justice Coordinating Committee in Windsor, CT; was a Criminal Justice Planner at the Connecticut Planning Committee on Criminal Administration and served as a Parole Officer and Recreation Supervisor for Connecticut ‘s Department of Corrections from 1969-1972. Previously, Tom taught English at Technical High School in Springfield, MA in 1968-69.

At various times, Attorney Tom Tyler has served as Legal Counsel to North Central Health District, the Enfield Housing Authority, and Enfield Fire District No. 1.

Russell J. Tyler

Russell J. Tyler

Russ graduated from Enfield High School (1967), received his A.B. from Brown University (1971) and his J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law (1974). He has practiced law in Enfield since that time, with an emphasis by preference in the areas of residential real estate, probate, wills and business law. He has been a member of the Hartford County Bar Association, Connecticut Bar Association and American Bar Association and previously served on the Customs Committee of the Real Estate Section of the Hartford County Bar Association.

Attorney Tyler has previously served as counsel to Enfield Commons Condominium Owners Association, Inc.; Brookside Village Owners Association, Inc.; Suffield Meadows Owner’s Association, Inc.; and Brandywine Village Owners Association, Inc.

He has also previously served as counsel to the Redevelopment Agency and Community Development Agency of the Town of Enfield, Connecticut.

Linda Picard

Linda Picard

Linda Picard graduated from Enrico Fermi High School in 1986 and Bay Path Junior College in 1988. Linda completed her internship at Tyler & Tyler in 1988 and then became a full-time employee in 1989. She remained with the firm until 1994 when she took some time off to be with her family. Linda returned to Tyler & Tyler in 2000. Her primary responsibility is the preparation of real estate documents for residential and commercial loans.
Maureen A. Rochette

Maureen A. Rochette

Maureen A. Rochette worked with Lynch & Petursson Real Estate Appraisal Co. from 1985 to 1992 serving many towns north of Hartford. The office also handled the Management of Suffield Village.

From 1992 through 2005 Maureen worked as office manager for David A. Petursson Co. Together, they managed over 500 condominiums in Suffield, Enfield and Windsor Locks. Her responsibilities included collecting monthly fees, receipts, special assessments, making daily bank deposits, accounts payable, daily correspondence with unit owners, heavy phone calls, contacting sub-contractors and maintenance workers and issuing work orders for daily maintenance, coordinating Association Meetings as required and obtaining bids for any large scale projects.

After Dave’s untimely death in 2005, Maureen joined the staff at Tyler & Tyler. Her responsibilities include opening and closing files, organizing and maintaining archive files, communication, and general office maintenance.

Julie A. Lefebvre

Julie A. Lefebvre

Julie A. Lefebvre is a graduate of Wilby High School in Waterbury, Connecticut and also holds an Associate’s degree in Computer Science from Asnuntuck Community College. Previously she was employed at Tristate Diesel for 17 years in the parts department performing many tasks, including inventory control, rectifying and coding statements, customer service and sales.

She seamlessly transferred her skills to Tyler and Tyler in 2021, assisting with many important responsibilities and duties, including Real Estate files, scheduling matters, and communications with clients.

She has obtained her Notary Public license so that she is able to furnish notary services to clients as well.

Elizabeth J. Locario

Elizabeth J. Locario retired from Tyler & Tyler at the end of 2020. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Connecticut (1973).

Betsy began her career with Tyler & Tyler on December 1, 1980 as a paralegal, deciding to attend law school shortly thereafter. She received her Juris Doctor degree and graduated Summa Cum Laude (first in class) from Western New England College School of Law (1986). Betsy served on the staff of the Western New England Law Review in 1984-1985 and was Senior Staff in 1985-1986. She was admitted to the Connecticut Bar in 1986.

After her admission to the Bar, Betsy practiced law with Tyler & Tyler continuously until her retirement, with a focus by preference in the areas of family law, real estate, wills and probate.

Betsy’s career with Tyler & Tyler spanned four decades and she left a legacy which included the deepest respect of her grateful fellow workers; and countless satisfied clients to whom she provided extraordinary legal advice and counsel.
